    FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

    What is Nose Aesthetics (rhinoplasty)?

Rhinoplasty is a surgical procedure performed to change the shape and shape of the nose or to correct breathing problems.

Who is a suitable candidate for rhinoplasty?

Rhinoplasty is suitable for people who are unhappy with the appearance of their nose or who have respiratory problems and whose general health is good. The ideal age for surgery is considered to be between the ages of 17-18, when the nose is fully developed.

Is general anesthesia applied during rhinoplasty?

Yes, most aesthetic surgeries are performed under general anesthesia. This ensures that the patient is completely asleep during the operation and prevents the feeling of pain.

What is the rhinoplasty recovery process like?

The healing process can be tailored to the individual. Swelling and bruising will subside within 1 week. Most patients can return to daily activities after 2 weeks, but a few make a full recovery.

Is it possible to achieve a natural look after rhinoplasty?

Yes, the purpose of the operation is to provide a natural appearance that suits the facial features. Natural results are achieved through detailed planning and doctor-patient communication.

Will there be any scars on the nose after surgery?

In open rhinoplasty procedures, there may be a small incision in the nose, but this usually becomes unnoticeable over time. In closed rhinoplasty, the incisions are made inside the nose, so there is no visible scar.

Can breathing problems occur after rhinoplasty?

With careful planning before surgery and proper use of surgical techniques, breathing problems can usually be prevented. Existing breathing problems can be corrected during surgery.

How long does the rhinoplasty process take?

The surgery usually takes between 1.5-3 hours. The duration of the surgery may vary depending on the burn condition and the total scope of the surgery.

    Are tampons used after rhinoplasty?

Thanks to modern surgical techniques, tampon use has been reduced to a minimum. Economical, soft and discomfort-free silicone tampons are preferred.
